Ulrich Buchholtz has worked within The Schmidt Group since 1986: 2 years as Division Manager within Schmidt Scientific Taiwan Ltd.; 4 years as Chairman and Managing Director of Schmidt Scientific Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia and Regional Managing Director South East Asia.

Since 1992 he first served as Group CEO and subsequently Group Chairman for all entities of The Schmidt Group: Healthcare, Electronics and Marketing.

 

Ulrich is a German national born in Hong Kong and a long term resident. His educational background is in Industrial Engineering (Business Administration & Electronics) at the University TH Darmstadt, Germany.

Ulrich was a member of the German Swiss International School (GSIS) Board for 22 years, serving as Chairman of the Board for 14 of those years.
